Site Natalia Starikova was born and raised in Russia. Her college and Masters education at the Savitskiy College of Fine Art and at the Kharkov Academy was based on the deep Russian tradition of classical training and technique in a variety of media.
Since then, she has lived and worked in the United Arab Emirates and in Toronto, Canada, as a graphic designer and a freelance illustrator in a broad range of styles. In addition to classical art, she was also trained in traditional animation principles and has recently learned modelling, rendering, and character design using Autodesk 3D Maya. She is eager to gain experience in the modern animation or game development pipelines.
Natalia loves her work, she always carries a sketchpad, and she practices drawing or oil painting every day. She also loves dancing.
